NORTH FORK RESORT ASSOCIATION, INC.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Fellow Owners,

On Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the regular Board Meeting the Board, with no dissenting votes, decided to modify the overnight camping rules for Winter Camping as follows:

Overnight camping during the designated Winter Camping Season (December 7, 2014- April 5, 2015) will be limited to Friday and Saturday nights.  Overnight campers can enter the Resort as early as 8:00AM Friday – 5:00PM Sunday and all buildings and winter section bathhouses will be open.  The Resort will be open for day use Sunday – Thursday from 8:00AM – 5:00PM; however, the buildings will not be open with the exception of “B” bathhouse and security Monday-Thursday.  There will be additional overnight camping for holidays as follows: Christmas/New Year’s-   Wednesday, December 24-Saturday, January 3, 2015; Martin Luther King’s Birthday-   Sunday, January 18, 2015; President’s Day-   Sunday, February 15, 2015.  As of the time of this notification Winter Camping reservations and the Winter Camping fee will be the same as last year.

It is the hope of the Board that this change in policy will help in decreasing our operating costs during the winter months as well as allowing more site maintenance on the sites typically used for winter camping.

The workers leasing sites in “B” section will be here for the winter but will be limited to access in that section only during the week.  We will also continue to have 24 hour security at the entry gate.

Please do not hesitate to contact the Resort Manager or any of the Board of Directors if you have questions regarding this winter camping policy change.

Respectfully on behalf of the Board,

Richard Sullivan- President, NFRA, Inc.

Attention Owners: Effective May 18, 2013, deeds with more than 8 individual names will not be accepted by our office, per the temporary rule enacted by the Board of Directors and under the advice of Resort council.
