North Fork Resort is a member owned RV park, located just 69 miles west of Washington, D.C., on a mile-long shoreline of the beautiful Shenandoah River near the northern end of Skyline Drive.
North Fork Resort offers 11 rental units and 450 campsites. Each campsite is individual, with a firepit and a picnic table provided. Our campsites include full hook ups (water, sewer, electric), 30/50 amps, pull throughs, and riverfront. We can accommodate up to 40′ rigs.

- Camping club guest sites are same rate as camp club.

Short Term Contractor Sites & Rentals
If you are a contractor working on a short-term contract in the Front Royal Virginia area, we also offer monthly rates for campsites and rental units. As a full service resort, we can accommodate workers throughout the year. We are conveniently located just off Route 55 and less than 2 miles from I-66 exit 6. Park Model Unit
40’ long modular unit, with a maximum occupancy of 6. Each Park Model has a deck, queen size bed, set of bunk beds, and two twin beds in the loft area (low ceiling in loft area may not be suitable for all). These units are located near the Rotunda, across the road from the swimming pools.

Duplex Unit
40’ long split modular unit, with a maximum occupancy of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). Each duplex has a porch and is equipped with a full size bed and set of bunk beds. The duplex units are located at the end of the river circle.

Rates
- Starting rate is non holiday, non special event, NFR member rate
- Tax based on 5.3% tax rate and 5% transient occupancy tax
- 3% convenience fee applies on all credit card transactions.
Times
- Check -in is 4:00pm
- Check -out is 12:00pm
Payment & Cancellation
- Full payment is due at the time of reservation
- $125 refundable security deposit due at check-in. Deposit returned within 10 business days.
- 24 hour notice required on cancellation to receive refund
- After check-in, no refunds will be given
Units are equipped with the following:
Air conditioning, satellite television, stove top (park model also has oven), full size refrigerator, pots and pans, kitchen utensils, dishes, scouring pad, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, toilet paper, fire pit, and picnic table. Please bring your own linens and toiletries.
Rules
- 2 night minimum on Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day weekends
- No smoking permitted in any unit
- Pets allowed only in designated pet units
- Dishes must be washed and trash taken upon leaving
- Maximum of two vehicles may be parked at rental site
- No tents permitted at unit
- Grills may not be used inside the unit or on the deck of any unit
- All units have a maximum occupancy of 4, except the park models that have a maximum occupancy of 6.
- No more than the maximum occupancy allowed in unit or on deck at any time
- Failure to adhere to rules will result in forfeiture of reservation and deposit
